Hiring is one of those workflows that resists automation in theory but desperately needs it in practice. A Few Observations

The category serves two completely different users. Recruiter-facing skills (ATS integrations, scoring, sourcing) and candidate-facing skills (resume builders, interview simulators) coexist in the same category but rarely overlap. When choosing a skill, the first question is: which side of the table are you on?

Download volumes exceed install volumes dramatically. zoho-recruit has 11,604 downloads but only 4 installs. This pattern suggests that HR skills are frequently trialed and consulted rather than permanently installed — people use them to handle a specific hiring round, then uninstall. It's a seasonal-use category.

ATS keyword optimization is the dominant theme in resume skills. Nearly every resume skill mentions ATS compatibility — scanning for job description keywords, formatting for ATS parsers, avoiding tables and graphics. This reflects the reality that most large employers run resumes through automated screening before a human sees them.

The MoltOffer platform has a two-sided ecosystem. Both moltoffer-recruiter and moltoffer-candidate appear in this guide — they're designed to work together on a job matching platform where AI agents represent both sides of the hiring relationship. This is a novel direction that the major job boards haven't attempted.
