ClawHub Google Skills Directory: Skills for Gmail, YouTube, Sheets & More
Google's ecosystem is vast — Gmail, YouTube, Google Workspace, Maps, GCP, Gemini — and OpenClaw's skill library reflects that. There are currently dedicated Google-related skills on ClawHub, making it the largest single platform represented in the directory. Here's the complete breakdown.
Note: Install and download figures in text descriptions reflect stats at the time of writing and may be outdated. All skill tables are live — they fetch current data from the ClawHub database on every page load. Treat table values as authoritative.
Data Overview
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Total dedicated skills | 444 |
| Active (with ≥1 install) | 166 |
| Zero installs | 278 |
| Skills with ≥10 installs | 33 |
| Top by installs | youtube-transcript () |
| Top by downloads | openclaw-youtube-transcript () |
Note:
openclaw-youtube-transcripthas unusually high downloads (31,899) due to being bundled as a dependency, but carries a privacy-risk tag for telemetry behavior. For YouTube transcription, prefer youtube-transcript or youtube-watcher.
1. YouTube — Transcripts & Summarization (Most Popular)
The single biggest subcategory. Transcript extraction and video summarization dominate. Most actively installed skills in the entire Google ecosystem live here.
Zero-install transcript tools (experimental, 30+ skills): youtube-transcriber, youtube-transcript-generator, youtube-transcript-tool, youtube-whisper, youtube-transcribe, tldw, gladia-youtube-transcribe, and many more. High duplication — most are thin wrappers around the same underlying approach.
2. YouTube — Channel Management & Content Creation
Skills for YouTube creators managing their channel programmatically.
3. Gmail & Email
Strong category. Several production-ready skills with meaningful install counts.
4. Google Calendar
Solid options available. google-calendar is the clear leader by installs.
5. Google Sheets
6. Google Docs
7. Google Drive
8. Google Slides
9. Google Workspace Suite (Multi-Product)
Tools that bundle Gmail + Calendar + Drive + Docs + Sheets into one skill.
10. Google Search & SEO Analytics
11. Google Maps & Local Business
12. Google Cloud Platform (GCP & BigQuery)
13. Google AI & Media (Gemini, Imagen, Veo)
Google's AI capabilities surfaced through dedicated skills.
14. Other Google Products

Observations
YouTube is overwhelming. It accounts for roughly 160+ skills — the vast majority of Google-related entries. Transcript extraction alone has 30+ variants with zero differentiation between most of them. If you're building in this space, the market already has multiple production-grade options.
The Workspace suite is converging on two approaches. gogcli-based skills (83 installs) and the managed-OAuth MCP-style skills (google-workspace-mcp at 65 installs) are pulling ahead. Most other multi-product Workspace skills are low-install experiments.
62% of skills have zero installs. 278 out of 444 have never been installed. Many are duplicate implementations of the same API (seven different Google Calendar skills, four different Sheets skills). This isn't a problem unique to Google — it reflects OpenClaw's open marketplace — but do check install counts before choosing.
High-download, low-install outliers exist. google-meet (6 installs, 15,409 downloads), google-play (4 installs, 14,115 downloads), and google-workspace-admin (6 installs, 14,873 downloads) have strong download numbers relative to installs. These may be pulled as dependencies by other skills.
GCP and BigQuery are underrepresented. Only 7 GCP-related skills, most with zero installs. OpenClaw usage skews heavily toward consumer/productivity Google products, not infrastructure.
